For his part, the Director of the Municipality, Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, confirmed that the initiative to distribute roses to visitors of Al Hamriya on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr comes as an embodiment of the approach of the Emirate of Sharjah in enhancing community values, and strengthening the meanings of cohesion and communication among community members. He said: "We at Al Hamriya Municipality are keen to make holidays, foremost among them Eid al-Fitr, an opportunity to enhance bonds of love and communication with community members, and to share their joys, as these initiatives represent a humanitarian message that reflects the spirit of the UAE, which is based on giving and tolerance."
